Architecture
Intelligence architecture blueprint.
This is the current blueprint for the Veldarium Capital intelligence system being developed by Veldarium Technology Systems. It is a design artifact, not production code. Implementation is staged; many layers are planned but not yet built.
8-layer system blueprint
Data flows upward from raw sources to operator supervision. Each layer is labeled by its current status in the build.
Source
Raw data inputs: price feeds, filings, transcripts, macro releases, news, and alternative data.
Without clean source discipline, everything downstream is contaminated.
Ingestion
Collection, buffering, initial parsing, and validation of incoming data streams.
The intake valve must be observable, restartable, and auditable.
Normalization
Schema alignment, unit conversion, ticker mapping, deduplication, and standard formatting.
Machines cannot reason over messy data. Structure is a governance layer.
Memory
Persistent structured storage: time-series, documents, knowledge graph, and audit log.
The firm must remember better than its people. Memory is institutional infrastructure.
Reasoning
Signal generation, synthesis, model inference, and research memo production.
AI generates candidates, not conclusions. Reasoning must be traceable and revisable.
Simulation
Scenario modeling, backtesting, stress testing, and paper-mode evaluation.
Every allocation proposal must be rehearsed before it reaches a human operator.
Governance
Approval queues, risk gates, policy checks, and human-in-the-loop review.
Governance is not a feature. It is the architecture that makes the system responsible.
Operator
Supervised decision execution, monitoring, and final human override authority.
The operator is the final boundary. The system exists to amplify judgment, not replace it.
Governance
Architecture is not decoration.
This architecture page is not a product brochure. It is the first governance artifact. It defines what the system is allowed to become and what it is not allowed to fake.
Without architecture, AI finance collapses into prompts, dashboards, and ungoverned automation. Architecture defines boundaries, memory, review, and action discipline before any code is written.
The architecture is staged, but serious. It is the frame inside which every future module must fit.
“The machine is being assembled in the correct order: doctrine, architecture, artifacts, prototype, internal system.”

Data truth-state framework
A core design principle: the system must track the epistemic status of every data point it consumes. Model output is not treated as fact.
Live
Real-time, directly observed data from feeds or sources.
Stale
Previously live data that has exceeded freshness thresholds.
Inferred
Derived from models, patterns, or estimation rather than direct observation.
Simulated
Produced by backtests, scenarios, or synthetic modeling. Not observed.
Incomplete
Partial data with known missing dimensions or sources.
Disputed
Multiple sources conflict; confidence is low until resolution.
Unknown
No reliable signal. The system must flag and operate around absence.
Governance protocols
Architecture without protocol is inert. These operating standards define how the system moves from observation to action without skipping review.
What exists today vs. what is planned
Compliance
Architecture is design. Not yet product.
Everything on this page is an architecture and research blueprint. It represents what we intend to build, not what is shipping today. The implementation roadmap is staged.
